History:
Burgdorf was founded in the 12th century by Berchtold von Zähringen. Already in 1273 the town Burgdorf got city rights. Every year the school party "Solennität" is organised, it has a long tradition, which started in the year 1729.
Actual:
The city has about 15000 inhabitants. The most photos and webcams of Burgdorf are added in 2008.
Interesting:
Burgdorf has the biggest and best kept Zähringisches Castle of Switzerland. Also the old town with its old houses is very interesting.
