History:
The Duke of Kyburg considered Winterthur as there capital city, until they died in 1284 and the city changed owner: the Habsburger familie. Winterthur resist the old swiss confideration as long as they belonged to the Habsburger until 1476 (because of lak of money) the lend the city to Zürich. Winterthur was under the Zürich ownership until 1798 not lucky with there owners.
Actual:
Winterthur has about 100000 inhabitants. The most photos and webcams of Aarau are added in 2008.
Interesting:
During the year 1799, Winterthur was owned by the French, then the Austrians and the Russians.
