Zürich is already in the 10th century mentioned as a city. In 1351 Zürich joins the swiss confederation. The subway is opened in 1990.
Actual:
The city has about 360000 inhabitants. The technical university and the university has a very positiv influence on the economy of Zürich, which is the biggest regional economy of Switzerland.
Interesting:
Very interesting to visit during your holiday are the Bahnhofstrasse with its stores and the Niederdorfstrasse with its bars.
